Hi everyone!
I apologize for not updating in months… so much has been happening! The rush of schooling was just the start before the quarantine and shelter-in-place orders came.
I’ve been keeping myself busy, so there hasn’t been a boring moment during this time. First off, my siblings and I arranged a dinner-making schedule so we’d all get the practice in. It was a terrifying experience at first, but it’s been a couple of weeks, and I’m pretty satisfied with how comfortable I’m beginning to feel in the kitchen! XD
In addition, I’ve been exploring digital art a lot more. I’ve started months ago (as you know from my book covers) but I’ve been wanting to expand this skill for a while now (I never found enough time). Thankfully, because we’re ordered to stay home, this gives me a lot of time to self-teach myself more on the basics of digital art, and I’m happy to say it’s going well! Better book covers may be on your way soon!
Dancing has also been another hobby of mine, which is a surprise. Being an introvert and self-conscious, dancing had only just recently become something enjoyable for me. Dance lessons have been so much fun and these past few weeks, my siblings and I have been playing “Dance Dance Revolution” to get our exercise in. Dance classes have also moved online, which is an interesting experience to say the least.
Reading has also been another hobby I’ve been able to pick up. Not much needs to be said other than that it’s AMAZING!
I’m very grateful for the immense increase of family time these past few weeks. My house is always very busy, but since everyone in the country needs to stay home now, it’s just my family in this household. We’ve reserved the evening to watching Korean dramas together (my new favorite is The King 2 Hearts) and playing board games (like Suspicion)! 🙂
Finally, I’ve been brainstorming new story ideas! YAYYYYY! With the conclusion of Wildfire’s Twin, I’ve been planning a new story that will hopefully be as enjoyable. I’ve started writing already, so look forward to more updates about that! 🙂
