2021~!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

It’s been a while… Thank you to everyone who stayed with this blog! ๐Ÿ™‚ I hope you all are doing well, despite all of the changes that have been happening.

Like last year, I wanted to take some time to do a little bit of reflection. 2020 definitely was a DIFFERENT year in many different ways. However, I don’t want to complain about “how terrible 2020 was”. There was still so much to be thankful for, since every year is God-blessed. I’m extremely grateful for being able to spend so much more time with my family before I head off to college this coming year. Of course, I didn’t expect to stay at home for most of the year, but I enjoyed every moment. It taught me to have a greater appreciation for the simple things in life, such as family, friends, self-care, and realizing who really cares for you during this period of isolation.

This year was full of changes not only globally, but also personally. I’ve been on hiatus for some time due to some personal struggles that I’ve been working through as well as academic priorities. I will do my best in blogging monthly.

Of course, with a new year comes new resolutions! One of my biggest resolutions this year is to complete some writing projects! Yes, new stories!! ๐Ÿ™‚ I have a lot in mind that I’ve been working on these past few months. I have new ambitions and goals for this new series; we’ll see where God leads! A further update: I’ve also been working on a new children’s book! It’s an original story written when I was in 7th grade. I hope you’ll like it!

One last thing I wanted to share: I saw an ad the other day, celebrating the new year. I don’t remember which company… but they said that we’re moving into “twenty-twenty-WON!” I thought it was very clever and very encouraging. 2020 has been an extremely hard year for all of us, but now, we’re in 2020-WON! We’ve made it through 2020, and this new year will bring new blessings, new hopes, and new victories! Let’s focus on the new future ahead of us as we pull through the remains of the past year. No matter what happens, know that everything will be okay. I hope this encourages you this New Year’s Day!

I’ll write more soon! Thank you again for staying with this blog, and I hope you’ll stay tuned as I update on my writing adventures! ^_^
