Summertime!

Hi everyone!

It’s been about a month since I last updated. I’m glad to announce that a project I’ve been collaborating with my kindergarten teacher on is complete! I’ve finished the drawings, and all that’s left is to publish! Keep an eye out! ๐Ÿ™‚

On top of that, I was busy with many screenwriting projects, as I have mentioned before. They were entered into a festival earlier this month. Can’t wait for the results! Until then, I will be brainstorming more ideas based off of the projects in my screenwriting class. New book coming out? ^_^

Since it’s the close of official quarantine, many things have taken place. I’d like to take some time to reflect on them a bit. First, the mass amount of family time has made me feel a lot happier inside. We’ve watched so many dramas and movies, it opens up a lot of new conversation, especially since many of the movies we’ve watched were new. My sisters and I were ecstatic to find out that Avatar: The Last Airbender was released on Netflix! Aang and his friends are one of my favorite gangs ever, and it was so great to finally be able to watch their entire story! Quarantine has also allowed me to realize how much screen time I have. I’ve been trying to find new hobbies that would allow me to rest my eyes (since digital art and writing stories both involve the use of a computer, hehe). I want to do something with a notebook… Notebooks are so fun and interesting, but I don’t know what to use it for… Let me know if you have any ideas!

Of course, the beginning of summertime is also bittersweet, this year especially. I will miss all the great friends I’ve made at my school. They’re such a group of supportive people… I can’t wait to see them again in summer when we’re allowed to meet other people XD

May this summer be one of new experiences and fun! Summer is usually a busy time for me, but it’s a good busyness. A type of busyness that allows me to explore more of myself and what I am capable of when I have time on my own. I hope your summers will be great as well! Stay safe and happy! ๐Ÿ™‚
